My Sister
My Sister is a framed acrylic piece on board. I had this piece selected and exhibited in the RBA NADFAS Scholars exhibition at the Lloyds Register and Mall Galleries. (March 17th -
2nd April, Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition; Lloyds Register Rising Stars Exhibition, 12th Feb - 10th March 2016)
I have delighted in the opportunity to exhibit my work in these two London Galleries and feel absolutely priviledged to have been given such an opportunity.
This piece explores change and structure, specifically looking at how family portraits capture time and memory in commemorative ways. This timeless representation of our relationships with those we hold dear serves as an important reminder of the past. The ability to look back at how we have changed and grown over time is a great way to remember where we have come from.
